               Deputy Sheriff Billy Grimsley succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on December 7th, 2012, after representing his agency in the Poquoson Christmas Parade. He was returning to Portsmouth when he was involved in an accident while riding his department motorcycle.

Deputy Grimsley had served with the Portsmouth Sheriff's Office for over 15 years as both an auxiliary deputy and full time deputy.
