BATON ROUGE LA Sept21 2012 – Police and emergency responders rushed to the interstate thismorning after a person jumped from the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge in Authorities said a woman abandoned her car on the bridge,then jumped into the river and died.
The incident tied up traffic on the bridge while policeinvestigated the scene and removed the vehicle from the bridge.
Police have not yet identified the jumper.
All lanes are open at this time.
