BLADEN COUNTY, NC  Nov11 2012– A deputy fire marshal with Bladen County Emergency Services passedaway Wednesday night from heart issues.
According to Emergency Services Director Bradley Kinlaw,John McClelland Hall, 48 of Bladenboro, became ill while responding to a housefire in the Carvers Creek Community Saturday.
Kinlaw said Hall had been on bed rest since the incident andwas taken to the hospital Wednesday.
Hall was also the Deputy Fire Chief of Clarkton FireDepartment and was an active firefighter with Bladenboro Fire Department.
In addition to emergency services, Hall was also the RedCross representative for Bladen County.
Visitation will be held at Galeed Baptist Church Monday, Nov. 12 at11 a.m.
Following the visitation, a memorial service is scheduled atGaleed Baptist ChurchMonday, Nov 12 at 1 p.m.
Graveside will follow at HillcrestCemetery across from Bladenboro Middle Schoolon S. Main St.in Bladenboro.
This is the second firefighter death for the Bladen CountyFire Service family this week. Captain David Tatum, 55, passed away Tuesdayafter complaints of feeling ill Monday while responding to a vehicle fire.
